Job Title : Senior Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant to support our accounting team in aligning with and delivering on the company's strategic goals. This role involves timely and accurate reporting, team development, product improvement, and enhancing profitability. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with both the accounting team and other operational departments to provide financial and accounting support to executives and department heads tasked with establishing goals and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end account reconciliations with supporting schedules and information.
• Collect and analyze data about the company’s operational and job-specific costs.
• Identify issues and ensure timely recording of necessary adjustments.
• Support the annual audit and tax filings.
• Participate in daily accounting operations.
• Maintain fixed asset and equipment management records and reconciliations.
• Map revenue and costs to the general ledger to ensure accurate records.
• Assist in setting cost standards and cost allocations.
• Maintain accurate project demographic and financial information.
• Recommend changes to company processes and policies to ensure accuracy, reduce costs, and maximize profit.
• Support the accounting team as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This role is office-based, with a typical work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. You will be joining a fast-growing construction organization that values a family environment and teamwork.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00 / yr.

Will be provided by the client upon offer extended to candidate.

Workplace Type

This is a hybrid position in Pittsfield,MA.
