Safety Manager

This established contractor in Olympia, WA, is expanding their operations and looking to appoint a Safety Manager to their leadership team.

Working across the entire company, you will establish, implement, and lead a safety program reporting to the company President.

As the company's sole Safety Manager, you will work closely with field teams, project managers, and the executive team to ensure safety training, safety policies, and safety compliance is at an exceptional standard. The company is fully-invested in elevating their safety program and this role will receive company-wide support.

To be successful you will ideally have the following :

• 5+ years of experience in construction safety management and expertise in construction related safety
• CHST Certification, Degree in Safety, OSHA 500, or similar
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with a diverse range of individuals
• A valid WDL and ability to travel to regional job sites frequently

This role provides the successful applicant with the chance to develop and implement a company-wide safety program as the head of safety working on technically challenging projects across multiple market sectors.
