Crawler Crane Assembly and Disassembly Technician

We are seeking an experienced Crawler Crane Assembly and Disassembly Technician to travel across the eastern U.S. This role involves supporting the assembly and disassembly of both company-owned and rented crawler cranes at various job sites along with other types of equipment when necessary. The preferred candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical skills, safety awareness, and a willingness to grow their expertise toward an A / D Director Certification.

Job Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites to assist with the safe assembly and disassembly of cranes, working closely with the A / D Director and project teams.
• Work with the A / D Director to learn the assembly and disassembly of different cranes, with a pathway to pursue A / D Director Certification.
• Make mechanical repairs to cranes and crane components as needed to ensure operational readiness and compliance.
• Drive a company vehicle to various work locations, ensuring tools and equipment are transported safely and securely, when applicable.
• Perform monthly and annual inspections on assembled cranes to ensure they meet safety and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all assembly, disassembly, repairs, and inspections conducted.
• Work from a New England based location when travel schedule allows.

Qualifications / Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the heavy construction industry.

Basic rigging skills with a willingness to learn advanced techniques.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
