Summit Design and Engineering Services (office in Franklin, VA) is looking for Construction Inspectors (all levels) to inspect all phases of construction on highway construction, bridge and maintenance projects located throughout Virginia .

Responsibilities :

• Act and make decisions independently for routine project issues.
• Foster a partnering relationship with contractors, the general public, and other project stakeholders.
• Train and supervise trainee inspectors.
• Monitor the work of contractors to ensure quality control and contractor compliance of moderate complexity under the supervision of senior inspectors.
• Perform daily record keeping of project activities.
• Prepare monthly project estimates.
