Medical HR Generalist

About the Role
We’re seeking a Medical HR Generalist to support daily HR operations, payroll / AP, and employee services in a regulated healthcare environment. You’ll coordinate full-cycle recruiting, manage training compliance records, support employee relations, and handle front-desk / visitor access while maintaining strict privacy standards.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations : Support benefits administration, HRIS updates, records maintenance, and employee relations.
Recruiting : Manage full-cycle recruiting—postings, phone screens, interviews, offers, and new-hire orientation.
Training Compliance : Maintain training files and the HSE / Document Control Training Matrix; coordinate new-hire and ongoing training completion and documentation.
Payroll & AP (40–50%) : Process payroll tasks, create customer invoices, verify pricing / quantities, resolve discrepancies; process credit card orders and credit memos.
Front Desk / Access : Greet visitors, manage front-desk operations, issue building access badges, and deliver high-quality internal customer service.
Engagement : Coordinate employee appreciation and engagement programs / events.
Data Integrity : Maintain accurate, timely HR / finance records and reports; uphold HIPAA and EEO compliance.
Required Qualifications
2–4 years in an HR-related role or an Associate’s in HR plus 1 year of relevant experience.
MediClear or equivalent HIPAA certification (required).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint).
Experience with HRIS (highly preferred).
Strong attention to detail, organization, and service mindset; effective communication across all levels.
Bilingual (Spanish / English) desired but not required.
Schedule, Pay & Employment Type
Compensation : $25–$35 per hour (based on experience).
Location : Carlsbad, CA (onsite / hybrid depending on business needs).
