Description :

The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes.

Develops, implements, and evaluates the patient's plan of care.

Creates an atmosphere that supports the mission to care, heal, and educate.

As the primary caregiver, provides direct patient care.

Works collaboratively with other care team members, physicians, and patients / families.

Aims to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Has access to confidential patient information.

Makes decisions independently and in collaboration with others.

Works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager.

Operates under the indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.

Requires "On-Call" availability for 2 weeks each month with a 1-hour response time.

Holiday coverage is required.

Familiarity with EPIC and PYXIS is needed.
