- Develop and maintain barcode scanning capabilities and integrations with BMC Remedy / Helix systems
- Provide hardware support for Zebra Technologies and Motorola Solutions handheld barcode scanners
- Maintain and support Seagull Scientific Bartender applications and label templates
- Maintain and troubleshoot issues related to mobile hardware and Mobile Reach applications
- Support mobile applications and their interfaces with BMC Remedy asset, ITSM, and property management systems
- Maintain and support BMC Remedy / Helix systems with a focus on mobile integrations
- Plan, test, implement, and support system upgrades across all mobile and barcode platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve application failures to minimize operational disruption
- Provide on-site support through occasional travel to geographically separated locations
- Deliver training and hardware support to customers utilizing Zebra Technologies and Motorola Solutions handheld barcode scanners
- Interface with cross-functional team members to ensure cross-platform module compatibility and standardization
- Collaborate on integration projects to maintain system cohesion
- Participate in technical planning and architecture decisions
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education / Training :
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline preferredMust have, or obtain within 90 days of start, a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (ex : Security+)Experience :
3+ years of directly related developer experienceExperience in barcode systems development and integrationExperience supporting mobile hardware, specifically Zebra Technologies and Motorola Solutions handheld barcode scannersExperience maintaining and supporting Seagull Scientific Bartender applications and label templatesExperience with mobile hardware and Mobile Reach applicationsExperience supporting mobile applications and their interfaces with BMC Remedy asset, ITSM, and property management systemsExperience maintaining and supporting BMC Remedy / Helix systems, with a focus on mobile integrationsExperience planning, testing, implementing, and supporting system upgrades across mobile and barcode platformsExperience troubleshooting and resolving application failuresSecurity :
Must be a US citizenCandidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret ClearancePhysical Requirements :
