We are looking for a Service Technician Journeyman III in Madison! In this job, you'll diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial truck issues efficiently, perform high-quality repairs, and maintain good communication with supervisor. We are seeking candidates with technical training preferred, CDL or ability to obtain, and knowledge of truck systems.

Pay : $35-45 / hr

Responsibilities and Requirements :

• Assisted in major engine overhauls under supervision
• Develop the skills to become a certified State inspector
• Perform minor repairs and maintain 95%+ efficiency
• Assist with paperwork, preventative maintenance, fueling / washing trucks
• High school diploma / equivalent, technical training preferred
• CDL or ability to obtain; lift / carry 75 lbs up to 5 feet
• Knowledge of medium / heavy-duty trucks, tools, engine / driveline, electrical, cab / suspension, A / C, air / hydraulic brakes
• Provide your own hand tools up to 1 / 2 in. drive
• Comply with policies / procedures, complete repair orders accurately, maintain a clean / safe environment
• Basic computer skills, works well in a team
• High attention to detail, organizational / multi -tasking / time management skills
• Strong problem-solving, eagerness to learn / seek information, customer focus
