Sales Contracting Specialist

Our Sales Contracting team is growing as we continue to support healthcare teams nationwide as the largest provider of medical-surgical products and supply chain solutions. Under direct oversight, this role will generate contract agreements from templates, review agreements for conformance and execution, and support contract signatures to execute and deliver on commitments to Medline's customers in collaboration with our sales teams. This is a learning role focused on supporting entry-level contracting processes and development.

Responsibilities :

  • Intake contract generation requests from Sales and review for completeness and accuracy.
  • Select appropriate contract templates and prepare for Sales presentation to customers. Collaborate with contracting team members for review of non-standard terms and conditions.
  • Review agreements received for signature for document conformance, route for signature, and file per standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand processes, procedures, and participate in continuous improvement activities.

Requirements :

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field and at least 1 year of experience providing customer service to internal and / or external customers OR a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience providing customer service to internal and / or external customers.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem resolution skills.
  • Interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Time management skills prioritizing / organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
  • Intermediate skill in Microsoft Word, including use of tracked changes and document and table formatting.
  • Preferred Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of experience with contracting practices and processes, contracts management, paralegal, or other comparable experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience managing detail-oriented projects in a cross-functional environment.

    The anticipated salary range for this position : $63,960.00 - $92,560.00 Annual. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and / or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

    Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average. For roles where employees work less than 30 hours per week, benefits include 401(k) contributions as well as access to the Employee Assistance Program, Employee Resource Groups and the Employee Service Corp.
