Job Description

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence and attention to detail will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This role requires a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your duties. Pay Rate : $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

  • Tue 02 : 45 PM - 10 : 45 PM
  • Wed 02 : 45 PM - 10 : 45 PM
  • Thur 02 : 45 PM - 10 : 45 PM
  • Sat 02 : 45 PM - 10 : 45 PM
  • Sun 10 : 45 PM - 06 : 45 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

    • Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues and identify any irregularities.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as required, including guiding individuals to designated areas and coordinating with emergency personnel when necessary.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as directed by Allied Universal and client procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
