Overview
BASIC FUNCTION : Develop and deliver instructional lectures and laboratories for Agriculture / Environmental Horticulture courses up to 6 – 10 hours / week; Use appropriate teaching methods to facilitate student learning; Teach day, evening, and / or weekend teaching assignments, which may include distance learning (interactive television, online) and accelerated courses; Assess Student Learning Outcomes every semester; Participate in department, division, and college-wide initiatives and committees if desired.
Required Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS : The successful candidate must possess the minimum qualifications stated below : Master's in agriculture, agriculture science, education with a specialization in agriculture or other agricultural area (including : agricultural business, agricultural engineering, agricultural mechanics, agronomy, animal science, enology, environmental (ornamental) horticulture, equine science, forestry, natural resources, plant science, pomology, soil science, viticulture or other agriculture science)
