The Opportunity

Driving better future mobility. VS (Vehicle Component Solutions) Company focuses on commercializing environmentally responsible automotive components and core solutions based on LG's proprietary technologies. A leading provider of core components for global car manufacturers, VS Company is supporting the emerging trend of the vehicle industry.

As The Quality Engineer II, You Will

  • Lead and support manufacturing quality related issues, customer return defect analysis (HW / SW testing) process, and root cause investigations
  • Manage OEM Change Point Control processes for Honda and Toyota
  • Conduct warranty claims analysis and manufacturing quality data analytics to identify trends and drive improvements
  • Report quality status to internal stakeholders and external customers
  • Standardize and maintain manufacturing quality documentation and workflow processes to improve efficiency and compliance
  • Ensure timely and compliant submission of customer-required documentation
  • Other Duties as Assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of direct automotive electronics manufacturing quality experience, including quality system management, communicating with OEM Quality team on related issues, working with overseas Manufacturing / Engineering teams, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical knowledge in automotive electronics quality manufacturing processes and standards (e.g., IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, Control Plans, PFMEA)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Office at an Advanced level)
  • Knowledge of Statistics / Problem Solving Tools : Minitab, PowerBI, Six Sigma, 8D, 5-Why problem solving, root cause analysis within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with large production lines, manufacturing quality control plans, PFMEAs, process control, and quality system audits
  • Ability to travel Domestic / International up to 1 time a week and as needed
  • Capable of managing small sample shipments received weekly
  • Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial engineering, or related technical field
