Job Description
What does this role entail? The Community Manager manages and coordinates the team members’ daily activities and resources of the property to achieve established budgeted financial and operational goals. Ensures property operations comply with Company policies, procedures and all laws governing multi-family housing.
Essential Responsibilities
Employee champion : manage team, conduct evaluations, interview, hire, orient, and train new hires.Meet targeted revenue goals by increasing sales and implementing marketing and leasing strategies; identify areas for improvement.Budget modeling, forecasting, profitability analysis, financial records, invoicing management.Analyze market trends, stay informed on technology and processes, and recommend improvements.Lease enforcement : inspections, collections, notices, and related processes.Client / Owner Management : property tours, updates on performance, and meetings with clients; contractor and vendor management.Maintain safety, cleanliness, curb appeal, and report maintenance issues; ensure service standards are met.Resolve customer complaints and issues.Monitor competitive landscape and build industry relationships.Other duties as assigned.Work Hours and Environment
Schedule : 40 hours per week. Site hours may vary by location.
Monday – Friday : 9am – 6pmSaturday : 10am – 5pmSunday : 1pm – 5pmEssential Requirements
Must be available to work on weekends when scheduled and perform essential job functions unaccompanied.Office environment with exposure to outside elements where temperatures, weather, odors, and / or landscape may be unpleasant or hazardous.Qualifications
Education : High School Diploma or GED
Experience :
1 - 3 years supervisory experience in multi-family property management; proven ability to hire, lead, direct, evaluate, and manage subordinates.1 - 3 years multi-family property management experience; background in Property Management, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service preferred.Advanced skills in communication, presentation, and delivery; ability to connect with people at all levels.Computer skills : proficiency in internet, word processing, spreadsheets, databases; strong experience with property management software (Entrata, Yardi and / or OneSite preferred).Licenses and Certifications
Current valid Driver’s LicenseCertifications : None requiredPhysical and Travel Requirements
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.Frequent standing, walking, reaching, climbing, stooping, squatting; occasional sitting and keyboard work.Local travel may be required; non-local travel may be required for business responsibilities.Additional Information
