Position Overview : We're hiring a Physician Assistant in our Cranford, NJ office. This position includes Saturday shifts. The Physician Assistant will promote and maintain health by providing medical services under the supervision of a physician.

Hours : Full-time

Responsibilities :

• Collaboration : Collaborate with physicians to identify and address patient care issues, offer relevant insights, and implement physician instructions for effective patient care.
• Patient Evaluation : Evaluate patient health through interviews, physical exams, and medical history reviews.
• Diagnostic Testing : Identify medical conditions by conducting or ordering tests like X-rays, EKGs, and lab studies, and interpret the results.
• Patient Records : Maintain detailed patient records in Athena and other electronic systems.
• Medical Procedures : Perform various medical procedures, including administering injections, suturing, wound care, and immunizations.
• Patient Education : Educate and counsel patients on treatment plans, growth and development, family planning, emotional well-being, and health maintenance.
• Patient Management : Develop and implement comprehensive patient management plans for seamless care continuity.
• Compliance : Ensure a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to established procedures, rules, and regulations, with a focus on infection control.
• Professional Development : Stay current with federal, state, and local laws and professional requirements, and provide guidance on necessary actions.
• Continuing Education : Stay updated with the latest medical advancements and practices by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, networking, and participating in professional societies.
• Team Collaboration : Contribute to the growth of the healthcare team by providing information, educational opportunities, and hands-on experiences.
• Quality Patient Care : Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to achieve common objectives and deliver high-quality patient care.
