Key Job Details – Corpus Christi Healthcare Jobs Location : Corpus Christi, TX 78414 Job Type : Travel Nursing, Full-Time Unit : Labor & Delivery (L&D RN); may float to Postpartum Shift : Night Shift, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour shifts) Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 9 / 2025 – End : 2 / 7 / 2026) Weekly Hours : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1820 - $1950 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Texas RN license or compact state nursing license At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery or perinatal nursing experience Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications (required for all healthcare jobs) Certification in Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN Intermediate / Advanced FHM or NCC C-EFM) Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Completion of annual competency verification for clinical support roles Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns using the nursing process Administer medications and treatments according to clinical protocols Accurately document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided Support the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families Educate patients, families, and caregivers on care plans and available healthcare resources Delegate tasks and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members Maintain compliance with organizational and unit-specific nursing competencies Float to postpartum unit as needed to provide clinical support Enjoy the advantages of Texas healthcare jobs and coastal living while making a difference in the lives of mothers and newborns.
