Specialization : Acute Care
Job Summary :
ICC (Intensive Care Consortium) is seeking an experienced acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join HCA Florida Palms West Hospital in Loxahatchee, FL.
Qualified Candidates :
- Acute care certification required for NPs; experience in the ICU for PAs
- 18-bed ICU – medical and surgical
- 24 / 7 coverage – 1 MD - day / 1 APP night with MD call coverage
- Fulltime (13 shifts / mo) - nights only 7 pm - 7 am
- APP providers must be proficient with, and credentialed to perform routine Critical Care procedures including central and arterial line placement, thoracentesis, intubations and management of mechanical ventilation
- flexible block scheduling
- Experienced candidates required, Autonomous APP with MD on call for support
- Opportunity to support other ICU programs in the area for variety : JFK Main and JFK North
