Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.\nHow you'll contribute\nThe Trauma RN Clinical Coordinator assists with the coordination of personnel and resources within the scope of the patient assignment. Acts as the liaison between the nursing departments and all ancillary departments to promote continuity of care, optimal patient outcomes, patient satisfaction, cost efficiency and compliance. A Registered Nurse who excels in this role : \nCoordinates staff scheduling, educational / development activities and performance evaluations.\nCollaborates with physicians, nursing, pharmacy and other healthcare team members / departments to determine, coordinate, and provide medical nutrition therapy.\nIdentifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of clinical services.\nDuring tour of duty, maintains constant communication between all nursing areas and the registration area in order to facilitate a smooth through put of patients.\nProvides basic direct patient care as needed.\nInsertion of PICC lines when ordered by the physician. Accesses Hickman catheters and port-a-Cath lines when needed.\nResponds to all in hospital emergencies to guide and assure appropriate outcomes.\nTreats patients and their families with respect and dignity.\nDuring tour of duty, rounds on all post-surgical or procedural patients. Provides €˜just in time' education for staff. Assists physicians with procedures.\nReports all incidents or unusual events to their director or appropriate supervisor.\nProvides moderate sedation when required. Knowledgeable of policy and procedure. Understands and practices within the scope of practice as an RN.

Schedule :

This position is a Full Time, Exempt and Benefitted position.

Work schedule is general business hours, mostly Monday - Friday.\nWhat we're looking for\nQualified Applicants should have a current state RN license that is in good standing.
