UI Architect
Job title : UI Architect
The Role : UI Developer / Lead should be proficient with Angular and related front technologies. Primary focus of the incumbent will be on developing user interface components and implementing them. The incumbent will be required to ascertain that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. The incumbent will have to coordinate with rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure to ensure smooth delivery. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Ownership for self and team on deliverables
- Mentoring and reviewing team’s tasks and assignments
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
Educational Requirements / Experience
B. Tech / MCA from a reputed institute / universityThe Candidate should have 4 to 10 years of experience in similar roleTechnical Knowledge
Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio with proven UI experienceIn-depth knowledge of OOPs, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languagesGood experience in Angular JS / Angular 2+Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object modelExperience in writing coded unit test casesFamiliarity with RESTful APIsKnowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web TokenFamiliarity with modern front-end build pipelines and toolsExcellent troubleshooting skillsDesign and develop responsive websites / applicationsQuick turnaround of enhancements and fixesContributing to client relationships as needed per project needResponsible for meeting expectations and deliverables on time and in high qualityExperience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site mapsAbility to solve problems creatively and effectivelyUp to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologiesExperience working in an Agile / Scrum development processExperience of working in onshore / offshore modelCore Competencies
