Job Description

The Archer School for Girls is currently seeking a part-time Technology Associate. The Technology Associate is responsible for resolving common and everyday service requests relating to Macintosh and PC systems, network, hardware and software problems and malfunctions, providing technical guidance, assistance, and follow-up on all IT inquiries. The Technology Associate is part of the Technology team and reports to the Director of Information Technology.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities May Include :

  • Collaborate repairs with the team for Apple GSX

Process Apple Repairs

  • Review and assist with Tech Help Desk Requests
  • Assist Dir. of IT with clerical paperwork, purchase orders, credit card reconciliation, and other tasks
  • Assist the Technology team with clerical responsibilities and ongoing documentation or paperwork
  • Other duties as assigned

    • Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • General knowledge of Apple MacOS and Windows 10 / 11
  • General knowledge of networking and Wi-Fi connectivity, general use software, and components of computer hardware
  • The highest level of integrity and work ethic
  • Collaborative work style
  • Must be professional, mature, and diplomatic
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Physically able to lift 50 pounds and perform moderately strenuous tasks (e.g. carrying computer equipment up and down stairs) and to climb ladders to access equipment and wiring

    • Required Education & Experience :

  • 1+ years of work experience with information technology or comparable work experience preferred, however not required

    Salary Range : $18.00 to $20.00 per hour depending on experience
