Patient Care Technician (PCT)

Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join their team. As a Patient Care Technician, you will be part of the patient care team supporting individuals undergoing dialysis treatment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a compassionate nature, and a commitment to patient care, which will align successfully with the organization.Job Title : Patient Care Technician (PCT)Location : Madison, WIPay Range : CompetitiveWhat's the Job? Provide direct, patient care for assigned patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Assist licensed nurses with pre and post dialysis patient assessments and their documentation. Monitor and document dialysis treatment parameters on Dialysis Flow Sheets. Report any significant information or changes in patient condition to the supervisor. Assist with emergency operational procedures and initiate basic CPR measures when necessary.What's Needed? High school diploma or G.E.D. is required. Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility is preferred, but not required. Completion of a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis.
