Security Professional Unarmed Healthcare Patrol

As a Security Professional Unarmed Healthcare Patrol Full-Time in Fountain Valley, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will be a visible representative of Allied Universal's valuesagility, reliability, innovation, and teamworkwhile supporting a caring culture that puts people first and always acts with integrity. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM

Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM

Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM

Sat 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM

Sun 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any security-related irregularities, including property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and helping to direct visitors as needed.
  • Support medical staff and facility personnel during emergency situations by following established protocols and providing assistance as directed.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal management and healthcare facility staff to address security-related issues and maintain a secure environment for all occupants.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
