job_description.job_card.job_descriptionWork chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory duties Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays) Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment Take impressions of the patient's teeth (models), extractions, composite fillings, etc... Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling) Ask about the patient's medical history and take blood pressure and pulse Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures Join our team and help drive our mission that all children, regardless of family income, deserve access to high-quality dental care, in a kid-friendly and fun environment! Certifications Needed : CDA or RDA is required. X-ray certification required. Additional certifications such as Coronal polishing and Sealant polishing is a plus must have Coronal Polishing certification or be working to obtain it by 11 / 03 / 2025. Experience : Must have Dental Assistant certification Job Type : Full-time / Part-Time Salary : Starting at $35.00 depending on experience. Additional increases for experience Bonus Pay : up to $300 additional per month Schedule : On-site. Monday-Friday Health Coverage - Medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
