o Lead the design and implementation of scalable data ingestion architectures and pipelines into Snowflake.
o Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL / ELT processes using Snowflake features like Snowpipe, Streams, and Tasks.
o Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and UDFs for data manipulation within Snowflake.
o Utilize Python for automation, data processing, and integration with Snowflake.
o Implement and manage data transformation workflows using tools like dbt.
o Optimize query performance and data loading efficiency within Snowflake.
o Ensure data quality, validation, and monitoring for accuracy and consistency of ingested data.
o Establish and enforce data security and governance policies within the Snowflake environment.
o Develop and maintain automation scripts and CI / CD pipelines for data ingestion processes.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance on Snowflake best practices.
o Troubleshoot and resolve data ingestion issues to ensure pipeline reliability.
o Stay updated with the latest Snowflake features and industry data engineering trends.
o Experience with other cloud data warehousing platforms (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery) or data lake technologies.
o Familiarity with data visualization and Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
