Maintenance Manager
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations within the facility, ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and leading a team of technicians. This role requires a strong technical leadership skills, and a proactive approach to preventive and corrective maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and manage a team of maintenance technicians and mechanics.
- Schedule and assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure safety compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures efficiently.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
- Manage maintenance budgets, including labor, parts, and equipment.
- Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and supplies.
- Evaluate cost-saving opportunities and vendor contracts.
- Lead facility improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and installations.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support operational goals.
Essential Skills
4+ years of maintenance experience in a meat processing company.2+ years of experience as a maintenance manager.5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.Troubleshooting 3-phase power systems.Experience with motors, VFDs, and control panels.Working knowledge of conveyor systems, gearboxes, bearings, and line changeovers.Expertise in hydraulics and pneumatics, including reading pneumatic schematics and troubleshooting valves, cylinders, and air systems.Additional Skills & Qualifications
1+ year of experience in food manufacturing / GMP.1+ year of experience in TIG welding.EPA / HVAC certification.Spanish language skills are a plus.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00 / yr.
