WCS is seeking a Surgical Technician for Labor & Delivery to join a local contract position in Brooklyn, NY. This role involves assisting the surgical team during labor and delivery procedures, ensuring a safe and sterile environment, and providing critical support throughout patient care.

Job Function :

Assist obstetricians during vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.

Prepare and maintain a sterile operating environment.

Set up delivery room and surgical instruments prior to procedures.

Prepare patients for labor, delivery, or surgical procedures.

Provide intraoperative support during deliveries and emergencies.

Monitor and restock surgical supplies and equipment as needed.

Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols throughout procedures.

Job Requirements :

Certified Surgical Technician with an active license.

Experience in Labor & Delivery preferred.
