Test Engineer - 3 ( Engineer - RF 3) - 25466

Overview

Test Engineer, Radar Systems – RF / microwave domain. This role is part of Huntington Ingalls Industries, Mission Technologies Division (HII-MTD) and supports total systems analysis, test planning, integration, verification and validation, risk assessment, and test asset utilization in an agile environment. The position focuses on RF / microwave systems architecture, antenna design, frequency synthesizers, transmitters and receivers.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests RF and / or microwave systems architecture, components, circuits, or products including antenna design (reflector and array systems), frequency synthesizers, transmitters and receivers.
• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analysis, and supportability analyses for total systems.
• Conduct functional and timeline analyses and apply testing philosophies and methodologies within an agile testing environment.
• Employ test assets to meet customer-driven test objectives and support HITL test setups and data acquisition hardware / instrumentation.
