Job Title : Logistics Delivery Driver

The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.

We are seeking a reliable and skilled logistics delivery driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive their products on time and in good condition.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Inspect tractor-trailers for defects before and after each trip and submit reports as required
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises
  • Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises
  • Maintain driver logs according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures, and exceptions

Requirements :

  • At least 21 years of age
  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least one year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely
