Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Contract Length :  10 weeks.

Start Date : ASAP.

Hours Per Week :   40.

Shift Requirements :   variable 4x10's.

Weekend / Holiday :   Weekends are every 5th for on call.

Holiday rotation.

Float Requirements :   N / A.

On Call / Call Back Requirements :   One night per week for 4 weeks out of 6 weeks schedule  and every 5th weekend -  30 minute response time.

Weekday call 1300-2130 and then call starts 2130-0730 the next day.

Required Certification :  WI RN License, AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS.

Minimum Experience : 2+ years PACU experience.

Must have recent hospital experience and post cardiac and peds experience is needed.

Charting Experience : Epic strongly preferred.

If no Epic experience, must have previous electronic charting experience.

Unit Specific Skillset : post recovery  Pacu.

14 Bays 1 : 2 patient ratio- 35 patients per day.

Unit Overview (Patient ratio, etc.) : Primary cases general, spine and neuro, GI, ENT, Cardiac, PV, ORTHO, will also stabilize ICU patients before transferring them to the ICU.

Scrubs any color.

Contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours.

Travelers can be put on call for low census hours.

The on-call hours that travelers are placed on will count toward the 36 low census unbillable hours.

If the traveler is called back to the facility, they will be able to receive call back pay.

GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation.

Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
