Senior Market Monitor – Climate (Financial Examiner 4) – Climate Pollution Reduction Program (CPRP), Department of Ecology.
Location : Headquarters Office in Lacey, WA. Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.
Schedule : This position is eligible for telework and flexible schedule options. A minimum of one day per week is required in the Lacey, WA office. Infrequently, additional Cap-and-Invest market events such as auctions may require in-person work. Schedules are subject to change based on position needs.

The CPRP focuses on implementing policies to reduce carbon emissions; the Cap-and-Invest Program uses a market mechanism to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in a cost-effective manner. The market began in 2023; the auctions fund projects to decarbonize transportation and other sectors, advance equity and environmental justice, and support Washington's mandates.
