About The Position
Title : Interventional Radiology Technologist
Location : Baltimore, MD
Duration : 13 Weeks
Shift : Day Shift | 4x10 Hours (07 : 00 AM – 05 : 30 PM)
Job Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of interventional radiology procedures, including vascular, abdominal, and neurological studies.
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic image-guided procedures.
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields; act as scrub and circulator during procedures.
- Monitor patient vitals and procedural data accurately.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment including fluoroscopy, CT, Philips, Siemens, and ultrasound systems.
- Ensure safe handling and care of central lines, ports, and other venous access devices.
- Participate in on-call rotation (approximately 5 on-call shifts per 8-week schedule).
- Float within the specialty as needed and provide weekend and holiday coverage per schedule.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including Rapid Response and Lift Teams, to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
Required Skills
2+ years of Interventional Radiology experience (Neuro IR highly preferred).Strong knowledge of vascular, abdominal, and genitourinary interventional procedures.Proficiency in venous access management, procedural setup, monitoring, and vascular closure systems.Experience in trauma level I or II facilities preferred.Comfort with high-acuity settings and procedural responsibilities.Required Certifications
