Regional Wellness Director : Chicago Area Or Eastern Michigan

As Regional Wellness Director, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assigned travel to all communities within the region, providing clinical expertise and support to regional directors, executive directors, wellness directors and all wellness team members. Responsible for the successful implementation and maintenance of corporate policies and procedures.

Conduct regular quality audits to ensure compliance with American House standards and state and federal regulations. Participate in hiring, training, and mentoring wellness directors.

Qualifications :

• Must be a registered nurse with an associate or bachelor's degree or LPN
• Maintains a current state license as a registered nurse per state regulations
• Two years RN experience including at least one year of experience in home health, assisted living or a long-term care environment
• Minimum of one year nurse management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management and daily operations supervision
• Knowledge of applied nursing practice and techniques in accordance with federal, state and local regulations
• Outstanding assessment, medication management, and follow up
• Demonstrates sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision making skills
• Experience with the elderly required and must have a thorough understanding of aging issues related to health
