Center Medical Specialist

Your Responsibilities :

Conduct physical examinations and gather medical histories to determine donor suitability.

Build strong relationships with donors to ensure high satisfaction levels.

Maintain confidentiality for both donors and staff.

Educate donors about potential hazards.

Provide counseling regarding health education and test results.

Evaluate and manage donor injuries and adverse events.

Review health history and medications for donor eligibility.

Participate in employee training efforts.

Administer the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program.

Required Qualifications :

You must be currently licensed and certified as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Licensed Vocational Nurse in your state. Current CPR certification is also required.

Key Attributes :

Ability to perform work both standing and sitting for several hours daily.

Comfort with bending, twisting, and frequent hand movement.

Light lifting ability, with a maximum of 50 lbs.

Good hearing acuity and visual perception are essential.

Strong communication skills to convey information effectively.

Independently execute a variety of tasks as needed.

Ability to manage sensitive information in a diverse work environment.

Understand biohazard exposure risks and comply with safety standards.

Work in potentially cold environments and use protective gear as required.
