Center Medical Specialist

Your Responsibilities :

  • Conduct physical examinations and gather medical histories to determine donor suitability.
  • Build strong relationships with donors to ensure high satisfaction levels.
  • Maintain confidentiality for both donors and staff.
  • Educate donors about potential hazards.
  • Provide counseling regarding health education and test results.
  • Evaluate and manage donor injuries and adverse events.
  • Review health history and medications for donor eligibility.
  • Participate in employee training efforts.
  • Administer the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program.
  • Required Qualifications :

    You must be currently licensed and certified as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Licensed Vocational Nurse in your state. Current CPR certification is also required.

    Key Attributes :

  • Ability to perform work both standing and sitting for several hours daily.
  • Comfort with bending, twisting, and frequent hand movement.
  • Light lifting ability, with a maximum of 50 lbs.
  • Good hearing acuity and visual perception are essential.
  • Strong communication skills to convey information effectively.
  • Independently execute a variety of tasks as needed.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information in a diverse work environment.
  • Understand biohazard exposure risks and comply with safety standards.
  • Work in potentially cold environments and use protective gear as required.
