Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Delivery Consultant, you will work closely with IBM clients and partners to design, deliver, and optimize IBM Technology solutions for payment fraud that align with the clients’ goals. Leverage technical expertise and consultative skills (problem-solving, hypothesis-based methodologies, communication, service orientation, fraud modeling, false positive reduction) to ensure world-class delivery. You will collaborate with clients to optimize and trail-blaze new solutions that address real business challenges. A typical day may include activities such as :

• Solving Client Challenges Effectively : Understand clients’ main challenges and develop solutions that deliver true business value across design, development, integration, implementation, migration, and product support with urgency.
• Help customers transform and grow by leveraging enterprise data for real-time decision making through managing solution design and delivery, problem solving, and continuous improvement.
• Model tuning and false positive reduction through modeling adjustments.
• Experience with Fraud systems from SAS, Actimize, BAE, Oracle / Mantas, FIS, Fiserv, Feedzai, etc.
• Exposure to enterprise-critical solution development where performance, scalability and high availability are required.
• Behavior modeling (e.g., SAS, Random Forest, Neural Networks, Gradient Boost).
• Technical skills : C++, SQL, Python; Linux (Redhat, Ubuntu, Cygwin, others); MQ and Kafka.
• Ability to represent the team and be a key player in an integrated services team; customer-facing skills and ability to keep key stakeholders apprised of progress and issues.
• Effective written and oral communication.
• Availability to travel as project / customer requirements demand.

Bachelor's Degree.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

This role performs services for customers in support of a SOA-based Payments Fraud system, including design and implementation of customer requirements relating to payments fraud detection. The candidate should have strong experience in designing or implementing integration environments for fraud detection, including data translation, modeling, and implementation, and at least 5+ years of experience with implementing and building fraud systems for financial services organizations. Experience with IBM DB2, Oracle DB, Linux, C++ development, Python, Random Forest, Gradient Boost, Neural Networks, SAS, in the context of detecting financial crimes.

Good Communication Skills Are Essential. The candidate will work closely with IBM customers worldwide to design and implement Integration / SOA solutions to detect fraud across payment channels (credit / debit cards, real-time payments, mobile, online banking, check / ACH, wire / Swift, and commercial payments). Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering detection (sanctions, know-your-customer, transaction monitoring) is a plus. The candidate may participate in pre-sales activities to demonstrate the value of IBM solutions related to financial crimes detection, focused on payment fraud.
