OneSparQ is partnering with a rapidly growing company in Plymouth, MI to hire Maintenance Technicians. There are multiple openings on both day (5 AM – 5 PM) and night (5 PM – 5 AM) shifts, following a panama schedule of 3 days on and 2 days off, with Fridays required.

Required Skills :

  • 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in an rough industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical background with experience working with electrical systems ranging from 24V to 480V.
  • Has hands-on experience troubleshooting PLC systems.
  • Must provide all hand tools (hand wrenches, allen key set, jaw pillars, and chain lock).

Additional Skills (not required)

  • Brings industry experience in the food and baking sector.
  • Possesses fabrication skills, adding value in maintenance department.

    • Responsbilities :

  • Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment, including ovens, conveyor belts, and other critical systems, to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems, including motors, instrumentation, distribution, and feed control components.
  • Inspect and replace worn components such as bolts, belts, and other hardware to ensure reliable equipment operation.
  • Collaborate effectively with teams across production, sanitation, engineering, and maintenance to support smooth plant operations.
  • Maintain an organized maintenance area by applying 5S workplace organization principles.
  • Learn and utilize the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system to document maintenance activities and manage work orders efficiently.
