Litigation Paralegal / Legal Assistant – Civil Defense

Atlanta, GA | Full-Time | On-Site

Join a respected Atlanta defense practice supporting busy trial lawyers. Handle filings, discovery, trial prep, and case management with autonomy. Competitive pay, strong team culture, and great reputation in the local legal community.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Draft, edit, and finalize pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, and other legal filings.

Manage state and federal e-filing systems (Odyssey, PACER) with accuracy and timeliness.

Organize case materials, hearing binders, and trial exhibits.

Coordinate scheduling, witness prep, and attorney trial support.

Track litigation calendars and ensure deadlines are met across multiple cases.

Desired Background

At least 5 years’ experience providing litigation support (civil defense experience strongly preferred).

Thorough knowledge of Georgia civil procedure and familiarity with local court practices.

Strong proofreading, grammar, and document formatting skills.

Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable handling multiple active matters.

Experience in bankruptcy litigation (particularly NDGA) is a plus.
