2nd Shift Plumbing Mechanic
Specific responsibilities include :
- Cut openings and drill holes for fixtures and equipment, using electric drills.
- Assemble, install, test water management equipment, using hand tools or power tools.
- Plan layout and installation of water lines / hoses, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications.
- Inspect equipment, or components to identify defects, or the need for adjustment or repair.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Troubleshoot all leaks
- Other duties as needed to meet Production requirements.
Required Education and Experience :
At least 3 years' experience with hoses, pumps and valves.Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in assembling plumbing equipment.Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of precision systems.Experience determining the cause of errors and troubleshoot to resolve the issue(s).Able to utilize your hands to grasp and assemble objects.Must be able to lift 20-30 pounds throughout the dayMust be able to stand and walk for a ten-hour shiftMust be an energetic self-starter and have an intense sense of urgency, and capable of following tasks through to completion.Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.Maintain professional demeanor; and know the distinction between professional banter and over familiarization.Must be fluent in English, ability to speak other languages a plus.Key Competencies :

Work Environment - this job operates in a shop environment where tools and other machinery is used.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work - this is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Tuesday through Friday, 4 : 00 p.m. to 2 : 30 a.m.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications - must pass a background check and drug screen.
