Network Engineer III

The person filling this role will be working as a Senior Network Engineer , supporting the Revelyst network infrastructure. They will take a lead role in planning, deploying, and supporting networking equipment. They will also take part in the day-to-day operations of the network team, including but not limited to handling service tickets, working with vendors, and performing network maintenance.

This position reports to the IT Manager, Networking and is based out of one of our headquarters offices; Irvine, CA; Bozeman, MT; San Diego, CA; or Hyde Park, UT.

As the Network Engineer III, you'll have the opportunity to :

• Maintain the health of Revelyst's network
• Work trouble tickets
• Plan and implement changes
• Work with networking vendors
• Mentor junior network engineers
• Interface with plant and office employees
• Network design & deployment
• Participate in regular on-call rotation

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

Physical Requirements :

Applicant must be able to lift 30lbs.

Mental Requirements :

Ability to handle stressful situations. Desire and ability to learn basic and advanced networking skills.

Education :

Bachelor's degree in information technology or AAS degree and equivalent experience.

Equipment Used :

Cisco Switches, Routers, APs, and Wireless controllers, Meraki APs.

Working Environment :

Work will be performed in a combination of solo and group activities in an office or plant environment. There will be some on-site physical work including but not limited to mounting, racking, and cabling network gear, as well as surveying for future network expansions and wireless additions.

Pay Range :

Annual Salary : $65,000.00 - $97,400.00. The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills / achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
