Position Title : Assistant Vice President, Personal Trust Administrator

Department or Branch : Trust

Reports to : SVP, Trust

POSITION SUMMARY :

The trust administrator position is responsible for computer operations and maintaining trust files.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Ensures accuracy of daily trust account processing and balancing daily reports.

Assists with monthly and quarterly account and tax processing.

Balances asset custody accounts.

Organizes income tax returns.

Maintains documentation for purchase and sale of securities.

Coordinates with brokers on the settlement of asset sales and purchases.

Coordinates with trust accounting system provider on computer problems and updates.

Maintains master files on trust accounting system.

Prepares land trust documents.

Prepares correspondence as directed.

Research issues relating to securities held by funded trust accounts.

Responds to customer inquiries.

• Other duties may be assigned.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS :

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field. 5 years of Trust Operations Experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers, co-workers, and outside bank personnel.

Communicate Orally.

Normal daily physical activities include walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.

Must be able to read reports and use a computer.

Occasionally will lift 20-30 pounds (files, cash drawer, etc.)
