Flexibility is required, as weekend coverage may be necessary.\nJob Description\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team at a Level 1 Perinatal Center. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive background in maternal care and be able to provide high-quality support across all stages of labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.\nResponsibilities\n
• Provide care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.\n
• Support nursery and postpartum care as needed.\n
• Manage antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care for gynecological non-obstetrical patients.\n
• Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records management.\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.\n
• AHA BLS and NRP certifications are required; STABLE and AHA ACLS are preferred.\n
• New York RN license or proof of application with an applied date must be included in the application packet.\n
• Fetal Monitoring Certification and competencies appropriate for the nursing scope of practice are required.\n
