- Monday-Friday, occasional Saturdays
- Start at5 : 30 AM, done when routes are finished (Generally 8-11hr days)
- 40+ hours / week, full-time, year-round work
Pay : With CDL : $30.00+ / hr DOE
Non-CDL : 24.00+ / hr DOE

DOT drug screeningCriminal background checkMotor vehicle record screeningAs a driver you will be operating an Automated truck collecting solid waste and transporting it to appropriate disposal sites. This Position requires you to work independently, in addition Drivers are expected to deliver excellence in customer service at all times. You will be cross trained in Automated Side Load Garbage Trucks, Front Load Garbage Trucks, and Roll Off Trucks.
Job Duties :
Operate various commercial refuse trucks safely and efficiently :Automated Side Load (ASL)
Front Load (FL)Roll-Off (RO)Collect waste from residential and commercial customers on assigned routesUse onboard computer system to track and verify service completionRead and follow route sheets or GPSroutingprovided by dispatcherLoad and secure trash bins orcontainers, ensuring proper placement for lifting armsUse hydraulic controls to lift and emptycontainersinto truck hopperSafely maneuver truck through narrow streets, alleys, and congested areasExit cab as needed to reposition bins, clean up spills, or secure areasPerform daily pre- and post-trip inspections on vehicle and report any maintenance needsRefuel and maintain truck cleanliness , inside and outMonitor container conditions and report damage, overages, or unsafe conditionsWork independently while maintaining courteous, professional serviceComply with all company, local, state, and federal safety regulationsand policiesWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT :
Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.Ability to mount and dismount the truck multiple times every day while on route.Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts which require following basic safety precautions.The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and / or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Valid Class A or B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
