Director of Food and Beverage

General Purpose : As the senior leader of the Food and Beverage team, the Food and Beverage Director (FBD) fosters a culture that consistently creates opportunities to Exceed Member Experiences through outstanding food and beverage occasions across all dining areas (a la carte locations, event coordination, and satellite locations, including the pool and turn kitchen).

Compensation : $110-115k base plus 10% bonus potential.

Essential Duties :

• Manage all Food and Beverage Operations, including Events

Develop and implement operating plans for events and the restaurant, addressing inventory management, vendor relationships, tastings, wine list, membership wine wall club, and cocktail menu.

Ensure staff approach guests with friendliness and hospitality, create a welcoming atmosphere, respond promptly to comments and complaints, and lead by example to provide EPIC service.

Meet revenue and expense targets, schedule staff efficiently, promote participation in events, and ensure timely financial processing and reporting.

Foster a positive work environment, recruit and onboard staff, conduct evaluations, manage performance, and ensure staff training and certifications are up-to-date. Create monthly schedules and communicate changes effectively.

Coordinate member events with the team, ensure high service standards, manage event setup and breakdown, and address member concerns.

Maintain organized, safe, and clean food service areas, adhere to health standards, and ensure the facility's appearance meets high standards.

Represent the clubhouse with professionalism, hospitality, and enthusiasm, maintaining the facility's appearance and ambiance.

Participate in open communication, staff development, and interdepartmental collaboration.

Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Experience : 2+ years in a related role.

Physical Demands : Frequent movement, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

Environment : Moderate noise, potential exposure to various conditions.

Certificates : Food Safety, Sanitation, Alcohol Awareness.
