Project Manager – Commercial Construction (Shreveport, LA)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects in the Shreveport, LA area. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for someone who can manage multiple aspects of the construction process, from preconstruction through closeout.
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading project teams, coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and vendors, and ensuring all work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage all phases of assigned commercial construction projects, from planning through final delivery
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, and documentation
- Lead, mentor, and support project staff and field teams
- Coordinate procurement, subcontractor management, and project logistics
- Monitor quality control, safety compliance, and risk management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a commercial general contractor or subcontractorProven ability to successfully deliver ground-up and / or renovation projectsStrong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, and contract administrationProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.)Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsWhat We’re Looking For
