DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Licensed Psychologist Director, you will provide oversight and direction of clinical services for the habilitation, rehabilitation, and social development of delinquent youth in a Youth Development Center / Youth Forestry Camp (YDC / YFC). You will analyze, evaluate, and continuously develop clinical treatment programs, as well as supervise supervisory and non-supervisory employees. You will direct clinical treatment services, interpret policies and regulations, and implement best practices and minimum standards. This role requires effective communication skills to consult with psychiatrists, physicians, and professional staff concerning diagnostic evaluation and therapeutic treatment programs. In addition, you will participate in contract negotiations, facilitate clinical training sessions, and attend juvenile court and other hearings as necessary.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Your schedule may change based on operational needs.
• Work Location : You will work at the Eastern Region BJJS worksite that is closest to your home. Possible work locations are available in Luzerne, Montour, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties.
• Overtime as needed and travel required
• Free parking
• Telework : You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary : In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
