Job Responsibilities

Major Responsibilities :

  • Operate forklift to load / unload materials.
  • Management of goods and means of transport, movements of goods (physical and ERP side).
  • Picking materials of all material types.
  • Report of transport damages, over deliveries, shortage and deviations of the delivery papers
  • Compliance with packaging regulations
  • Caring for the forklift (charge battery, arrange maintenance and repairs)
  • Warehouse management : parking space control, stocktaking, notification of exceptional stocks to supervisor.
  • Perform staging of product.
  • Assist Shipping / Receiving Clerk with preparation of all paperwork related to shipments.

Knowledge and Education :

  • A GED or High School equivalent or at least 5 years of experience as a material handler or a combination of education and experience.

    • Work Experience :

  • At least 3 years of experience operating a forklift, prefer experience with stand-up and sit down.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive
  • Proficient computer skills
