Job Summary

Vision Life provides Supported Living Services (SLS) to adults with developmental, behavioral, and intellectual disabilities, helping them live as independently as possible. We offer flexibility, training, and career growth, with a strong focus on quality care and personal development.

We have immediate openings for morning, afternoon, overnight, and weekend shifts.

    • Responsibilities

  • As an SLS Instructor , you will :
  • Provide one-on-one support to adults with disabilities in their homes
  • Assist with daily living skills : cooking, cleaning, medication reminders, transportation, and community involvement
  • Support clients with financial, personal, and social goals
  • (Depending on role) Train new staff and take on leadership duties

    • Requirements

  • Must be willing to work in Pasadena, Glendale, and Los Angeles areas
  • Drivers license and reliable transportation required
  • CPR / First Aid Certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain
  • Must pass Live Scan background check
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Social Security card and eligibility to work in the U.S.

    • Schedule Options

  • 4, 8, or 12-hour shifts

    • Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Caregiving, group home, or assisted living experience
  • First Aid Certification
  • ADL (Activities of Daily Living) assistance
  • Patient observation and cooking skills
  • Background in nursing homes, long-term care, or social work
  • Bilingual (Spanish required for some positions)

    We comply with state mandates. Religious / medical exemptions are accepted with documentation. Non-vaccinated staff must wear masks while on duty.
