About You

Your contribution :

The Manager of Risk Management will handle the comprehensive insurance and risk management programs of Wakefern, assessing and identifying risks that could impede the reputation, safety, security, and financial success of the organization and ensuring the financial protection of the organization through insurance and self-insurance programs.

Responsibilities include day to day management of the purchase and maintenance of insurance programs through third party insurers and / or captive insurance company, and the associated relationships with third party service providers including brokers, insurers and TPAs. This leader handles responsibilities of the Risk Management Committee (RMC) and captive board meetings, and prepares loss analyses and insurance budgets. In addition, the manager identifies risk exposures, recommends solutions and promotes practices to prevent, mitigate and reduce risk.

This position is located in Edison, NJ.

What you will do :

Insurance and Captive Programs

• Manage all property and casualty insurance and captive insurance programs.
• Lead the oversight and handling the risk transfer and funding strategies, including insurance renewals, captive operations and performance improvement of its programs
• Manage Risk Management Committee (RMC) agendas, planning, review, preparation and presentation of materials with internal and external providers.
• Manage captive meeting planning agenda, preparation and presentation of materials with internal and external providers.

The salary range for this position is : $140,000 - $170,000

Placement in the range depends on several factors, including experience, skills, education, geography, and budget considerations. Additional experience may warrant additional compensation.
