DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will be vital in maintaining the safety and efficient functioning of our roadways, particularly during the demanding winter months when snow removal is crucial. Your role will not only involve snow plowing but also extend to various construction sites, where your expertise will significantly influence the infrastructure and safety of the traveling public. Each day will present you with manual labor challenges that highlight the importance of teamwork and commitment. A key responsibility will be managing traffic control around construction zones to ensure the safety of both the public and employees, which will include performing flagger duties.
In addition to operating heavy machinery, you are entrusted with performing minor repairs and conducting preventative maintenance on your equipment and trucks. Your role also involves meticulous record-keeping, as you complete daily logs and reports to track equipment usage and maintenance history. This documentation is vital for operational efficiency and fosters accountability within the team.
