Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers a rewarding opportunity for a Special Education professional to support K-12 students in an onsite setting in Dorchester, SC. Working full-time with approximately 37.5 hours per week, this contract runs through the school year with the possibility of extension into summer or the following academic term. Assignments will vary based on your experience and availability, providing diverse classroom engagement across grade levels K12.

Responsibilities include :

• Delivering tailored instructional strategies and accommodations to meet individual student needs
• Collaborating with general education teachers and support staff to design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Monitoring student progress and adapting teaching methods accordingly
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational regulations
• Participating in team meetings and professional development initiatives to enhance expertise
