Fire Control Specialist
This position involves coordinating and integrating weapons operations. The Fire Control Specialist will use strategic skills to process and relay tactical battlefield information to a network of joint fires in support of mission-based operations.
The role requires integrating information from multiple users and sensors through various networks, as well as operating computer and database systems. Soldiers assigned to this job will be initially enlisted as Field Artillery Soldiers (13U) and then assigned to a specific Field Artillery job (13-Series MOS) based on available Army opportunities and skills assessed at Basic Combat Training.
