Job Description : Emergency Department Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location : Blue Ridge, GA

The Staff Pad has partnered with Blue Ridge Medical Center in Blue Ridge, GA, to find a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their Emergency Department team. The LPN will play a vital role in supporting emergency care delivery under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. This position requires strong clinical skills, quick decision-making, and the ability to provide quality care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
  • Administer medications and injections as ordered.
  • Assist in emergency procedures and patient assessments.
  • Monitor and document vital signs, promptly reporting changes in patient status.
  • Support the care team in stabilizing patients and preparing them for admission or discharge.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team during stressful situations.

Qualifications :

  • Current LPN license in the state of Georgia (or ability to obtain).
  • Previous experience in emergency, urgent care, or acute care settings preferred.
  • BLS certification required (ACLS and PALS preferred).
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
